Tai Chi in Birmingham & the West Midlands

Definition of Tai Chi

Tai Chi is like a form of moving meditation. Traditionally and still taught as a martial art Tai Chi is done with as much deep relaxation or "softness" in the body as possible. This seperates it from other martial arts where a degree of tension is used.

Tai Chi teaches awareness of one's own balance and what affects it, as well as awareness of the same in others and an appreciation of the practical value in one's ability to moderate extremes of behavior and attitude at both mental and physical levels.
