Definition of Meditation
Meditation is the practice of calming the mind and focusing attention to promote stress reduction, relaxation, understanding, clarity of thought and acceptance.
Used in all Eastern and many Western cultures, meditation is now very popular all over the word and can be practiced at home, in groups or whenever you have a few moments. It is seen as a religious experience in many of these cultures where the mind is focused on God.
The aims of meditation are very peaceful and positive.
