Definition of Colour Therapy

Colour therapy can take many forms. Predominantly it is a form of phototherapy using colour to influence health and to treat various physical or mental disorders.

Colour rays may be in the visible or invisible spectrum and can be administered through coloured lights or applied mentally through suggestion. Colour therapy can be as simple as wearing or paying attention to certain colours. As the energy body is made up of frequencies of energy, each having a particular colour, to focus and work with a single colour or a combination of colours can promote healing in the relevant area.
